Job summary

An Independent Special School is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work part-time supporting primary pupils with ASD. You will help children in all curriculum areas and participate in a collaborative and supportive team environment. This role requires enthusiasm, resilience, and a passion for working with children. The position is for 3 days a week during term time, with additional inset hours as needed. Safeguarding and background checks are required.

Ripplevale School is a successful Independent Special School for pupils aged between 6-18. We provide a nurturing and caring environment for pupils with ASD.

At Ripplevale School, we are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and resilient Learning Support Assistant at our Lower School in Broadstairs, for our Primary pupils. If you are passionate about working with children with ASD, then this role is for you.

We have 1 part time post (3 days a week to include Thursdays and Fridays) 8.30 – 3.45 term time only, plus 70 inset hours (pro rata'd to days working) which presently includes Tuesday early evening twilight sessions (if working a Tuesday).

Our pupils cover a wide range of academic abilities, as a Learning Support Assistant you will be supporting pupils with autism in all areas of the curriculum under the guidance of the class teacher.
