Job description

Salary: Grade 3 – £24,796 pro rata for 30 hours per week term time only, equating to £17,660.20 pro rata, rising to £18,045.79 after 5 years.

Contractual hours: 30 hours per week (45.8 weeks per annum), open-ended.

Overview

Come and take a key role in the All Age VA Learning Resource Centre at Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi VA, a 3‑16 Church in Wales school in Pembrokeshire National Park. The school provides a caring, inclusive and welcoming environment with strong community links and a busy calendar of social and cultural events.

Responsibilities
  • Work on a one‑to‑one basis with a pupil who has an Individual Development Plan (IDP).
  • Support the pupil within the secondary Learning Resource Centre, and collaborate with primary and secondary teaching staff.
  • Work across the 3‑16 age range on occasion, under the guidance of Lead Teachers and HLTAs.
  • Ensure best practice across the school provision.
