Job description

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint Learning Facilitators to help learners with additional learning needs develop independent learning skills, and reach their potential in and outside the classroom. The post holders need to be pro‑active, flexible and motivated to inspire learners to grow, achieve and develop.

We are ideally looking for full‑time- 37 hours per week, but part‑time hours are also available.

Please be advised that due to these roles starting mid‑year, successful candidates will initially be on a fixed‑term contract until July 2026. Subject to a successful probationary period, the contract will change to a permanent, term‑time‑only contract in the new academic year.

Suitable candidates should have 5 GCSEs grade 4 or above, including Maths and English, and a Level 3 qualification. It would be desirable that candidates hold, or be willing to work towards, relevant qualifications. Experience of team working, the ability to support students in a learning environment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
