Job description
🛁 Join the Victorian Plumbing Team as a Learning & Development Specialist! 🚀

Are you a brilliant builder of brains? Do you get a genuine buzz from turning potential into performance?

Victorian Plumbing, the UK’s leading online bathroomretailer, is on the hunt for a dedicated and hands‑on Learning & Development Specialist to join our busy HR team.

We're not just selling taps and tiles; we're building a world‑class team, and we need your expertise to make sure every single employee has the knowledge and skills to be the very best. This role is a genuine opportunity to make a massive impact on the growth and development of our entire organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be responsible for the full learning cycle – from initial concept to final delivery and reporting.

  • Design & Develop: Get stuck into instructional design. You'll be the expert creating engaging content across various formats—from sharp e‑learning modules (familiarity with PageTiger is a plus!) and essential job aids to dynamic virtual and in‑person workshops.
  • Deliver & Facilitate: Step up and lead training sessions, workshops, and induction programmes with confidence and professionalism, ensuring an effective learning environment every time.
  • Admin & Logistics: You'll be the logistical guru, managing the end‑to‑end admin for all programmes. This includes scheduling, managing enrolments, tracking attendance, and helping to onboard and maintain our new LMS alongside the HRIS platform.
  • Measure & Report: Use your methodical approach to administer evaluation tools, collect key data, and prepare metric‑driven reports for management review, showing the real impact of L&D.
  • Coordinate: Manage the practical side of working with external providers, including logistics and coordinating apprentice levy funding.
What You'll Bring to the Bathing Table 🎯

We're looking for someone with significant, proven, and practical experience in a similar L&D role.

  • Proven L&D Expertise: Substantial demonstrated experience with a heavy focus on instructional design, content development, and direct facilitation of training.
  • Adult Learning Guru: Expert knowledge in applying adult learning principles to transform complex, technical information into accessible, highly engaging materials.
  • LMS Savvy: High proficiency in LMS administration (content uploading, user management, reporting) is essential.
  • Execution Excellence: You're a project management whiz, able to manage multiple logistical threads and hit delivery deadlines without breaking a sweat.
  • Communication Power: You have strong verbal and written skills, backed by a methodical, detail‑oriented approach to both content creation and data management.

A relevant qualification in HR, OD, or Education is desirable, but your real‑world experience and commitment to continuous professional development are what truly count.

Ready to Build a Career, Not Just a Bathroom?

If you’re a proactive, detail‑driven L&D specialist looking for a role where you can truly take ownership and see the results of your hard work every day, then we want to hear from you!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, dynamic UK company and shape the development journey of our growing team.
