At Eco Group Hull, we’re growing and we’re ready for someone exceptional to step in and lead our Service Co‑ordination role. This isn’t a standard service desk role. We’re looking for a hands‑on leader with industry knowledge (plumbing, heating, electrical or similar) who thrives on organisation, takes pride in knowing the ins and outs of every job, and genuinely enjoys making things run even better than before. The Role

As Service Co‑ordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and developing the day‑to‑day operations of our service help‑desk, working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, suppliers and customers. You’ll be the go‑to person for service delivery, ensuring jobs are planned effectively, systems run smoothly, and the team is supported to perform at their best.

  • Lead and manage the Service Co‑ordination function, taking full ownership of performance and delivery.
  • Allocate incoming job requests to the appropriate Engineers with effective diary and resource planning.
  • Oversee planned PPM works and Service Level Agreements, ensuring clear communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate job records and service data in line with contractual requirements.
  • Identify, improve, and develop service desk systems and processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Resolve service desk issues proactively, always focused on solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Support and develop the service co‑ordination team as the business continues to grow.
  • Assist with wider office and administrative functions where required.
About You
  • Experience in a similar role within plumbing, heating, electrical or building services.
  • Leadership qualities and a desire to own and develop a department.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using job management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills – professional, clear, and positive.
  • A logical, solutions‑focused mindset.
