Job summary

A UK-based healthcare provider is looking for an enthusiastic Paediatric Diabetes Dietitian to join its Nutrition and Dietetics team. This full-time, fixed-term role involves leading the paediatric diabetes service and closely working with paediatric specialists. The successful candidate should have significant experience in dietetics, specifically in diabetes, and be skilled in managing a caseload and providing patient education. Qualifications

  • Significant post-registration experience of working as a dietitian, specifically in diabetes.
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary team/agency working.
  • Trained to deliver DAFNE diabetes group education programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Dietitian for the Paediatric Diabetes service.
  • Supervise and manage the Band 6 Dietitian within the service.
  • Provide follow-up consultations for newly diagnosed patients.

Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics
Eligible for registration with the Health Professions Council
