A leading construction firm in Rochester is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks for a significant project. The ideal candidate will ensure system readiness, quality compliance, and effective stakeholder communication, managing a budget up to $50M. Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing MEP-intensive projects, commissioning coordination, or complex system startups.
  • Ability to travel locally as project needs dictate.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary MEP point of contact for the project.
  • Coordinate closely with the on-site Commissioning Agent.
  • Oversee MEP system startup and ensure alignment across disciplines.
  • Review the master schedule and lead planning with MEP subcontractors.
  • Perform QA/QC spot checks on rough-ins and verify system installations.
  • Analyze sequencing and identify opportunities for cost betterment.
  • Resolve design gaps, field conflicts, or technical issues.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
10+ years of MEP or mechanical project management experience
