Location & Salary

Based in East London – covering sites across the area

£28,734 – £30,246 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

Role Summary

We are looking for a Landscape Technician to join our Estate Service team in East London. Working as part of a small team of three, you will be responsible for the ground works on several sites across the area. The role involves lawn mowing, hedge/shrub pruning and litter picking. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, well‑organised, a team player with good interpersonal skills and previous experience in horticultural grounds maintenance. You will operate garden tools and powered machinery safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake grounds maintenance duties such as grass cutting, pruning, and weed/moss treatment.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment – hedge trimmers, strimmers, and hand tools – are maintained in good, workable condition and are operated safely.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on task progress, completing daily work records as appropriate.
  • Comply with health and safety requirements in accordance with supplier guidelines and assessments.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience working in a similar role where gardening machinery is required.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Full valid UK driving licence – the role will involve driving on company business.

  • Role salary is £27,940 with an additional policy allowance of £793 per annum (rising to £29,411 with an additional policy allowance of £835 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance).
