We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality teams at Merewood and Briery Wood Country House Hotels, Windermere.

The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role involves engaging with customers, taking orders, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is highly desirable, along with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.

Duties
  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Preparing coffee and other beverages
  • Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Prepare for and provide excellent service during weddings and events
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation at all times
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Experience
  • Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality roles is preferred
  • Knowledge of catering, serving, and food preparation techniques
  • Barista experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine interest in hospitality and delivering outstanding customer experiences

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
