Job Overview

Salary: £12.60 per hour
Permanent contract – 33 hours per week (3 days per week)
Shift: 07:30–19:30 (1 hour unpaid break), alternating weekends

We are looking for an equally passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our Kitchen Team, to support our residents with an excellent dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents
  • Assist chefs with plating meals, preparing food trolleys and maintaining clean and tidy preparation areas
  • Monitor stock rotation, adhering to company policies and following all mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines
  • Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties
Qualifications & Skills

A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high standards to help residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
