You combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution and know how to deliver sustainable growth in a highly competitive market.

With your knowledge of the FMCG sector and a data‑driven approach (using Nielsen, GfK, and retailer tools such as AH Retailer Connect and Etos dashboards), you ensure optimal visibility of our products, strong commercial direction, and the translation of shopper and market insights into concrete growth plans. Within the PH Sales Benelux team and the wider Food & Drug team, you contribute to synergies and maximize total Philips value in the market. You will report to the Channel Leader Food & Drug.

  • Manage and further develop strategic accounts Albert Heijn and Etos (including several smaller customers).
  • Drive Joint Business Planning and co‑create long‑term growth plans with Ahold Delhaize.
  • Develop and execute ambitious account plans across all channels (omnichannel: AH.nl, Etos.nl and in‑store).
  • Negotiate annual contracts, activations, and shelf plans.
  • Leverage market and retailer data (Nielsen, GfK, AH Retailer Connect, Etos dashboards) to identify category opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
  • Analyze consumer and shopper trends and translate them into commercial opportunities and innovation projects.
  • Ensure excellence in execution for promotions, launches, and activations, securing best‑in‑class visibility online and offline.
  • Collaborate intensively with internal teams such as marketing, shopper marketing, supply chain, and finance.
  • Monitor KPIs, conduct performance analysis, and report to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain daily contact with customers on operational and commercial topics.
  • Be an active contributor to a close‑knit and ambitious commercial team.

You're the right fit if:

  • University degree (e.g. marketing, business administration, or similar).
  • Proven experience in category management and working with retailer data tools (Nielsen, GfK, retailer dashboards).
  • Strong analytical skills and a data‑driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Able to balance strategic relationship‑building with hands‑on operational follow‑up, ensuring both long‑term partnership and flawless execution.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and perseverant.
  • Fluent in Dutch, strong command of English, French is a plus.
