› › Kent Cricket: Commercial Sales Executive (Deadline – Jan 9)Location:The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury, United Kingdom### Description**JOB TITLE:** Commercial Sales Executive **REPORTS TO:** Membership and Sales Manager, Chief Commercial Officer **CONTRACT:** Full time **SALARY:** £25,000 **BASED AT:** The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury (with occasional travel)**Summary of Role:** The successful candidate will work in the Commercial department and drive ticket and membership sales across Kent Cricket venues and products. There will be a focus on group sales, Vitality Blast sales, premium seating packages and premium membership packages, aligning with the broader Club goal of boosting attendances at all fixtures. Additionally, they will support the Chief Commercial Office with account management for partners.**Other Details:** Normal working hours will be 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday (inclusive), including one-hour unpaid lunch on each day worked. The post holder will be based at The Spitfire Ground, St. Lawrence but travel to The County Ground, Beckenham may be required to assist on match days. The nature of the work, the post holder will carry out his/her/their duties as such times/days which are most effective to perform the tasks required. This may involve some out of hours work – evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays, as necessary.**Background:** Kent Cricket is one of only 18 first-class county cricket clubs in England and Wales. More importantly, creating an environment where everyone, from any background, can do their best work, is the right thing to do and we therefore encourage applicants from diverse areas to apply.**Principal Duties & Responsibilities:** **Ticketing and Membership Sales** • Being the main point of contact for incoming group and premium seating enquiries • Proactively driving sales for group packages for matchdays and events • Proactively driving sales for premium membership packages • Research and analyse B2B and B2C Sales Opportunities • Prepare sales and performance information and reports • Developing an in-depth understanding of group packages and premium seating products • Build and maintain professional networks • Ensure that the administration of matchday group bookings is undertaken accurately and ensure that customers are welcomed and enjoy their experience during each home match**Sponsorships and Partnerships** • Support the Chief Commercial Officer in the management and activation of sponsor and partner agreements, and account management of sponsors • Deliver high-quality servicing for commercial partners, ensuring contractual rights are fulfilled and value is maximised • Ensure consistent and high-quality communication with all customers and partner groups • Act as a key point of contact for partners, responding promptly and professionally to enquiries and feedback • Assist with researching, prospecting, and pitching to potential new sponsors**Additional Responsibilities** • Support with set-up and management of hospitality on Matchdays and Events as required • Provide excellent customer service to members and supporters, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience across all touchpoints • Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to create marketing campaigns promoting commercial products and experiences • Maintain CRM system, databases, and commercial records • Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for internal and external use • Support the wider commercial team in achieving department targets and delivering strategic objectives*This job profile is not an exhaustive list of all job responsibilities, tasks and duties.***Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:** • Educated to A-Level or equivalent level • Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills • Sales experience preferred, but not essential • Clear communication skills and a strong command of the English language (Fluency in English, written and spoken) • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work within a team and to contribute to the overall success of the Club. • Multitasking skills and good organisational abilities • A desire to deliver first-class customer service • An ability to build strong working relationships**How To Apply:** Please submit your CV and a short (maximum 150 words) statement of support stating why you are the ideal candidate for the role by emailing jobs@kentcricket.co.uk with a subject heading of **“Sales Executive”.**The deadline for applications is 23:59 Friday 9th January 2026, with interviews to take place week commencing 19th January 2026.**Safeguarding Statement:** Kent Cricket is committed to safeguarding and protecting children, young people and adults in cricket and we expect all employees to share this commitment.
