BBC Studios Digital is a content creation and publishing team that manages the digital accounts of world‑famous entertainment brands including Bluey, Top Gear, Doctor Who and BBC Earth. This role sits within the Digital Content team, responsible for content development and production across all digital platforms. We commission original pieces, respond to commercial branded briefs, and produce over 12,000 pieces of written, graphic and video content per year.
This is an entry‑level position into production management. You will work as a Production Management Assistant, supporting our Production Managers and Coordinators in creating quality content for TV, audio, online, events and digital platforms.
On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be able to apply for roles such as Production Management Assistant, Production Secretary or Production Coordinator, depending on experience both inside and outside the BBC.

You’ll study for your industry‑recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on the job at the BBC and off the job with our chosen education provider. You will attend instructor‑led workshops, tutorial sessions and group work. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gather a portfolio of evidence and work on an end‑point assessment demonstrating your learning, while working towards a Level 4 apprenticeship qualification.
This apprenticeship will give you a thorough knowledge and understanding of what it is like to work in production management and the media industry, which you can utilise during your time at the BBC and thereafter in the wider industry.
