Job summary

A contemporary arts gallery in Nottingham is seeking a Building Manager to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility. The role involves coordinating repairs and maintenance, working closely with the Co-Directors on the Capital Project, and overseeing logistics for events and exhibitions. Job description

• Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday, occasional weekend work)
• Start date: Ideally February 2026
• Location: BACKLIT Gallery, Nottingham

As the Building Manager, you will be the main contact for the safe and efficient running of the building.

You will coordinate repairs, maintenance and compliance, work closely with the Co-Directors on the Capital Project. You will also oversee logistics for events, exhibitions, and space hire.
