Job description
Responsibilities
  • You optimize tax strategies and processes, develop policies, and implement measures to enhance the tax strategy, ensuring compliance and increasing efficiency, particularly in international markets.
  • Your goal is to establish and manage a tax‑efficient structure in terms of cost and benefit, continuously identifying and realizing further potential savings.
  • You oversee the topic of transfer pricing within the group and with international subsidiaries, taking into account both tax and strategic considerations.
  • Your focus lies on tax‑related matters and financial accounting, particularly the preparation and review of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and, prospectively, IFRS for our subsidiaries, especially in the markets Germany, UK, France, Netherlands, Italy, and the USA.
  • You work closely with the accounting team, clarify accounting‑related issues, and coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • You establish accounting structures for our international subsidiaries.
  • You support internal and external audits and act as the point of contact for complex tax‑related matters.
  • You develop and manage both employee participation structures and investment vehicles, being responsible for their accounting and annual financial statements.
  • You contribute to the automation of financial processes using tools such as PowerQuery and PowerBI and continuously optimize internal procedures.
  • You support international expansion from a financial perspective and are experienced in the setup and integration of international entities.
Qualifications
  • You hold a university degree with excellent grades in Business Administration, Tax Law, Accounting, or a related field.
  • You bring 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Tax, or a related area (ideally gained in a consulting or auditing environment) and have hands‑on experience supporting and handling tax audits.
  • You have strong knowledge of tax law and accounting for corporations.
  • You are confident in using accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • You enjoy taking ownership and bring a natural can‑do attitude.
  • You work independently and in a structured manner, while being highly team‑oriented.
  • You are fluent in both English and German.
