Inclusion Support Assistant – Physical and Sensory Needs

Fixed-term position linked to external funding for an individual student, to be reviewed each academic year.

Part-time working 32.5 hours per week, term time only for 39.2 weeks per year.

Salary: Grade 5: £25,989 – £27,254 per annum pro rata. Actual salary: £19,823.56 – £20,788.46 per annum.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will support the SENDCo, teaching staff and students with a focus on those with physical and sensory needs. Under the direction of the SENDCo, the candidate will assist students with day‑to‑day tasks to access the curriculum, including personal care. Excellent communication between the candidate, staff and students is expected.

All staff are expected to work alongside teaching staff to be role models for students, demonstrating the highest standards of teamwork, collaboration and respect.
