A global engineering firm seeks a Hydrogeologist to manage and deliver complex water resource and low-flow studies in Leeds, England. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Hydrogeology and experience with water resources aligned to WINEP. Responsibilities include leading a multidisciplinary team, overseeing technical project delivery, and mentoring staff. Working closely with Head of Discipline of Hydrogeology, to manage delivery of water resource and low‑flow studies aligned to our clients WINEP commitments, you will play a key part in our UK Water Catchment Management & Maritime capability team and be involved in the technical delivery of a wide scope of Geological and Hydrogeological Projects. As part of a project‑focused multidisciplinary team you will also provide functional expertise to water resource management and environmental impact assessments.
Alongside this, you will provide specialist hydrogeological support in the review of hydrogeological datasets, the identification of groundwater‑surface water interaction, formulation of conceptual site models, design and implementation of groundwater monitoring schemes, groundwater model interrogation, signal‑test design and analysis, as well as assessment of the impact of abstraction and options for meeting WINEP objectives.
