A global aerospace and defence company is seeking a HVAC Design Engineer for a 12-month contract, based in Portsmouth. The role involves undertaking detailed design activities within quality standards and offering technical support. Candidates should have at least 2 years' experience in engineering. Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a HVAC Design Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in either Glasgow or Portsmouth on a 12 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.

Rate

£42.08 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella

The Role

To undertake a defined range of detail design activities in line with all relevant processes and quality requirements, supplying advice and support to operations and other functions and ensuring defined objectives are achieved whilst continually maintaining quality and service requirements. Stages 2 & 3 of HVAC Design Solutions.

Knowledge & Skills
  • 2 Years' experience in engineering or a defence or related industry
  • Possesses good knowledge of most aspects within their discipline.
  • Able to perform analysis using recognised draughting and analytical tools and to make sound judgements.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting responses in assigned areas to operational units or other activities.
