HV Maintenance Supervisor | Critical Environment | Slough, Berkshire | Static role | 68K + Package

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of electrical, mechanical and HVAC maintenance engineers and their switching schedules.
• Perform hands‑on maintenance duties within a high‑voltage, critical datacentre environment.
• Manage high‑voltage switching schedules, low‑voltage switching schedules, high‑voltage transformers, power supplies, UPS systems and similar critical equipment.
• Conduct general electrical, mechanical and HVAC maintenance (e.g., AHUs, FCUs, UPS, motors, CRAC units).
• Provide technical support to the engineering team, ensuring remedial reports are detailed and accurate.
• Ensure health‑and‑safety policies, RAMS, permits and compliance documentation are up‑to‑date and adhered to.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician.
• Current or former High‑Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) or Senior High‑Voltage Authorised Person (HVSAP) status (highly desirable).
• Experience in a maintenance role within a critical environment (e.g., datacentre, hospital, banking) or with equipment such as high‑voltage switching, UPS, CRAC, etc.

• Base Salary: £65,000 – £68,000
• Location: Farnborough, Hampshire (static site)
• Employer: Leading UK FM Provider
• Holidays: 25 days pro rota to shift pattern
• Hours: 4 on, 4 off (days and nights, 7 am–7 pm / 7 pm–7 am)
