HV Maintenance Supervisor | Critical Environment | Slough, Berkshire | Static role | 68K + Package
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of electrical, mechanical and HVAC maintenance engineers and their switching schedules.
- Perform hands‑on maintenance duties within a high‑voltage, critical datacentre environment.
- Manage high‑voltage switching schedules, low‑voltage switching schedules, high‑voltage transformers, power supplies, UPS systems and similar critical equipment.
- Conduct general electrical, mechanical and HVAC maintenance (e.g., AHUs, FCUs, UPS, motors, CRAC units).
- Provide technical support to the engineering team, ensuring remedial reports are detailed and accurate.
- Ensure health‑and‑safety policies, RAMS, permits and compliance documentation are up‑to‑date and adhered to.
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician.
- Current or former High‑Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) or Senior High‑Voltage Authorised Person (HVSAP) status (highly desirable).
- Experience in a maintenance role within a critical environment (e.g., datacentre, hospital, banking) or with equipment such as high‑voltage switching, UPS, CRAC, etc.
Employment Package & Benefits
- Role: HV Maintenance Supervisor / HV Engineering Supervisor
- Base Salary: £65,000 – £68,000
- Location: Farnborough, Hampshire (static site)
- Employer: Leading UK FM Provider
- Holidays: 25 days pro rota to shift pattern
- Hours: 4 on, 4 off (days and nights, 7 am–7 pm / 7 pm–7 am)
