Base pay range: £52,194 - £55,323 p.a. inc. London weighting. Contract: Permanent. Hours: 36 hours per week. Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time.

We have an exciting opportunity as an HR Business Partner to join our HR & OD team at Brent Council to support the organisation through transformative change.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, driving organisational success. You’ll provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and employee development, ensuring a positive work environment. Additionally, you will support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to build and maintain a high‑performing workforce. By analysing HR data, you will help drive informed decision‑making and contribute to improving overall business outcomes.

As a flexible working organisation, you will have the option to work two days a week from home.

Qualifications

You are a passionate HR professional with excellent knowledge and understanding of human resources best practice and a thorough application of current and upcoming employment law. You are an effective communicator with influencing and persuasion skills and evidence of success in building and forming working relationships based on credibility and integrity.
