Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled HR Partner to contribute to our growing success. As a key member of the Factory Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strategic and operational HR Leadership to enable the delivery of business objectives.

Key Accountabilities
  • Act as a strategic HR partner to the Factory Leadership Team, influencing decision‑making and embedding effective people practices across the site.
  • Lead, develop and coach the HR team and Admin Management team, creating a high‑performing, collaborative culture with clear accountability and capability development.
  • Own and deliver the factory people plan, ensuring all site‑specific HR priorities are executed in line with business needs and aligned to Group HR strategy.
  • Deliver the wider WMFTS HR functional agenda beyond the factory, embedding our HR non‑negotiables and ensuring alignment with the broader Spirax Group people strategy.
  • Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters, ensuring a fair, consistent, and legally compliant approach.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and ways of working to reduce manual activity and improve colleague and manager experience.
  • Lead on organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development within the factory.
  • Champion engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and health & safety initiatives, ensuring colleagues feel supported and able to perform at their best.
  • Use data and insight to inform decisions, track people metrics, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure effective change management support for business transformation, restructures, and operational change.
Skills & Experience
  • Extensive experience in HR leadership role within a complex, operational environment (manufacturing or similar is essential).
  • Strong people leadership capability, with experience of leading, developing, and motivating HR and administrative teams.
  • Ability to operate credibly at senior leadership level, influencing and challenging with confidence and professionalism.
  • Experience of leading on organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Deep knowledge of UK employment law and best‑practice HR principles.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a track record of working across teams, functions, and business areas to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, with experience of simplifying process and improving efficiency and service delivery.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align people initiatives to business performance.
  • Experience of working within a matrix organisation is advantageous.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification and/or equivalent commercial experience.
