Role: Cook and Resident Support
Location: Blackpool Harrowside
Hourly Rate: £13.21
Contract: Perm
Rota: 830-1730 1 hr lunch average 24 hrs 2 days one week and 3 days the next.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Confidence in cooking for up to 9 people
  • Strong organizational skills, ready to handle a variety of tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills with a genuine understanding of the needs of older people
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook and Excel experience is a plus, but full training will be provided)

About the Role:
  • At Abbeyfield Living Society, our goal is to create a warm, community-focused environment where residents feel valued and respected. As a Cook and Resident Support team member, you’ll ensure that residents enjoy wholesome, home-cooked meals while also being a friendly face they can turn to for support.
  • You’ll also assist with general wellbeing, handle any issues that arise, and elevate them when needed.
  • Basic computer and budget management skills are helpful, but full support and training will be provided by our welcoming team.
