Housekeeper – The Duchy Hospital

Location: Harrogate, United Kingdom
Hours: 22.5 hours a week (part‑time, flexible shift pattern)
Salary: £24,947.00 FTE per year (dependent on level of experience, training and qualification)

Responsibilities
  • Undertake day‑to‑day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
  • Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
  • Replenish linen and consumables.
  • Provide flexibility to work in all departments (including theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites as appropriate and as requested.
  • Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing purposes.
  • Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Qualifications
  • Competency in literacy and numeracy.
  • Maths/English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
