The ideal applicant will have prior patient care experience, particularly working with elderly patients, those suffering from dementia, and those in need of hospice care. Duties

• Assist with personal hygiene, such as clothing, grooming, and bathing.
• Help clients with transfers and mobility, including heavy lifting when needed.
• Prepare wholesome meals based on the dietary requirements of your clientele.
• Give patients their medications as directed and keep an eye out for any negative side effects.
• Provide company and involve clients in deep discussions and activities.
• When necessary, use behaviour management strategies to assist clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia care.
• Perform simple housekeeping duties to maintain your clients’ surroundings tidy and secure.

Qualifications
