A trust for educational excellence in Tees Valley is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant. This position requires a strong commitment to supporting student learning and following teachers' plans. Candidates should possess an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with excellent communication and IT skills. The successful individual will work collaboratively with teachers to enhance the educational experience and take on a specialist support role. The role offers full-time hours during term time and focuses on promoting the welfare of children.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Band 7) Spinal Column Points 8 – 11, £23,175.20 – £24,313.92 per annum. 37 hours per week, term time only including PD days (195 days). Permanent post.
The school wishes to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and imaginative HLTA to support the learning of pupils. This position will commence as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will work with teachers to support teaching and learning through leading on the provision of specialist support to both the teacher and school, by covering classes and interventions as required, alongside supporting learning within the classroom.
Ayresome is committed to training one Teacher Apprentice, each year. This apprentice post will be recruited internally within the Ayresome staff; therefore, these posts may be of interest to candidates who hold the required qualification and are considering a future teaching career.
Applicants will possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. The school is looking for applicants with excellent communication and IT skills, who can develop effective relationships with pupils and colleagues, and be able to follow teachers’ plans and also take the initiative when appropriate.
