Qualifications

• Experience with HGV vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to perform fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Understanding of legal requirements for vehicle safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the HGV fleet to company standards.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and manage paperwork.
• Record vehicle defects and maintain accurate service records.
• Repair minor accident damage as required.
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of work.

Skills

Works well both independently and in a team

Manages deadlines well

Qualifications required City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI

Commercial experience on HGV's

Class C+E licence preferable

Education

City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management
