A national supplier of building materials is seeking an HGV Driver to join their team in Kilmarnock. In this role, you will ensure timely delivery of products, maintain vehicle standards, and support incoming stock management. The position requires a Class 2 HGV driving licence and offers training for HIAB certification. Benefits include 23 days of annual leave, performance bonuses, and a pension scheme. We are looking for a HGV Driver to join us at PDM Kilmarnock!
PDM are Scotland’s leading supplier of Civils, Above Ground and Multi-Utilities products. Operating across our network of 10 branches in Scotland, we pride ourselves in our technical, knowledgeable, and loyal staff who located at all our depots, can provide technical assistance in offering best advice and solutions to our customers.
We rely on our HGV Drivers to make sure products get to our customers when they need them. You’ll be making sure our stock in the yard and warehouse is easily accessible to be picked, loaded, and delivered in our lorries. Working in one of our branches you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as an HGV Driver with PDM:

We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that you’ll need to succeed as an HGV Driver however you will need a Class 2 HGV driving licence to be able to drive our company vehicles.

We’ll support you to gain your HIAB certification if you don’t already have it. Training will be provided by us, and you’ll become fully qualified to operate HIAB equipment A training agreement will apply, meaning if you leave the business within a set period after completing the training, you’ll be required to repay the cost.
