In this role, you’ll be an important part of the multi‑disciplinary team, ensuring our patients feel supported, respected and cared for throughout their journey with us.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a varied role where no two days are the same – combining clinical support with patient care, and helping to keep our outpatient department running smoothly.

This is a full‑time role, working 37.5 per week over 4 days, Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday shift.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering compassionate and patient‑centred care, including supporting with personal hygiene, mobility, diet and fluids.
  • Assisting patients during treatments, investigations and procedures, always protecting their privacy and dignity.
  • Recording vital signs and updating care documentation accurately.
  • Acting as a chaperone when needed and escorting patients safely within the unit.
  • Supporting the team with administrative and reception duties – greeting patients, answering queries, and managing documentation.
  • Helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and patient experience.

You’ll also be encouraged to develop your skills and competencies through training and ongoing professional development.

  • Calm, professional and compassionate, even in challenging situations.
  • Flexible to fit into the internal rotating shift patterns.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team and supporting colleagues.
  • Organised, adaptable and able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.

It would be great if you hold NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or have experience in a hospital or outpatient setting, but what’s most important is your dedication to delivering exceptional care to our patients.

What you can expect in return

  • Work 37.5 per week over 4 days, Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday shift.
