Overview

Health Care Assistant role at J C Michael Groups Ltd in Hackney. We are looking for cheerful, dedicated and committed professionals to support service users with activities of daily living on weekdays and weekends.

This is a vital role in caring for clients who live locally, with opportunities to form professional relationships and understand each client's needs and interests. Sensitivity to the dignity of the individual and a commitment to promoting independence are important.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal hygiene and care
• Assisting, prompting or administration of medications (where applicable and following policy)
• Providing practical and social support, including assistance with mobility aids (e.g., hoists, Zimmer frame)
• Supporting daily activities and promoting independence
• Flexible scheduling and ability to work with clients in a respectful manner

Qualifications

• New non-experience welcomed
• Or 6 months to 1 year experience in the required field will be advantageous
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 2/3 in Social Care) preferred
• Flexibility, caring and reliable, enthusiastic and consistent
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• All posts are subject to enhanced DBS check and suitable references
