An international airport operator is seeking a Head of Operational Planning to oversee asset and capacity planning across Manchester Airport. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for creating operational plans at key passenger touchpoints. Experience in aviation and strong analytical skills are essential. The Head of Operational Planning is accountable for Manchester Airport’s operational plan, overseeing asset and capacity planning across the full passenger journey within a D-1 to 12-month horizon. As part of the Airport and Asset Development function, the role works closely with senior stakeholders across Planning, Commercial, and Operations to ensure plans are aligned and deliverable.
You will be lead a team of three direct reports, responsible for the creation of operational plans across key passenger touchpoints including check-in, baggage, gates, stands, car parks and surface access. The role also involves working with 3rd parties such as airline and ground handlers to agree on seasonal plans ensuring effective and efficient delivery.
