Job summary

A local council service provider is seeking a dependable Gully Wagon Operative in Salford. The successful candidate will drive a gully wagon to maintain roadside drainage systems and perform planned and reactive maintenance. A full UK Driving Licence (Category C) and experience with HGVs are essential. This role includes fixed hours with potential overtime and a commitment to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence with Category C (HGV Class 2).
• Experience with operating gully wagons or similar HGVs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a gully wagon and related equipment.
• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance works.
• Conduct vehicle checks and maintain accurate work records.
