Job summary

A regional arts organization in Dumfries is seeking an Education and Youth Engagement Director to oversee the development of youth programs at the Theatre Royal. Guild of Players (Theatre Royal Dumfries)

Pay: £26,465 pa pro rata for a 21‑hr week = £15,879 pa

Closing date: 5pm Friday 9 January 2026

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the management, development and delivery of children’s and young people’s work at the Theatre Royal, and for running the Guild of Players Youth Theatre
  • Build relationships with national and local organisations including colleges, community groups and schools, and deliver education outreach activities
  • Deliver and supervise workshops, and Guild of Players Youth Theatre productions
