Athletic Coach / Activities AdvisorAn athletic coach/activities advisor coaches, supervises, manages, coordinates, and plans all practices pre‑season, in‑season, and post‑season. The athletic coach/activities advisor is also responsible for coaching/advising, supervising, and managing all athletic and activity competitions. The total operation of the extracurricular programs, athletics, activities, transportation, and related athletic facility operations for grades 6‑12. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Activities Director.

Essential FunctionsThorough knowledge of Minnesota State High School League website, handbooks, and calendars and scheduling system; general knowledge of Minnesota Department of Education website, Infinite Campus software; and Impact Test Online; thorough knowledge of District Website and Infinite Campus Reports; thorough knowledge of standard office equipment; ability to make arithmetic computations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers, students, parents, and elected officials.
Education and ExperienceThis work requires the occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, speaking or hearing and using hands to finger, handle or feel and occasionally requires standing and walking; work requires close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, depth perception, color perception, and peripheral vision; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data; work has no exposure to environmental conditions; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
Special RequirementsValid driver's license. Current Head Coaching license through MDE or willing to obtain for position.
Wage$3,145 - $3,708 per season dependent on experience.
