A major energy company in the UK is seeking a Gas Operations Cyber Officer to provide technical expertise for operational technologies across Gas Transmission assets. Various operational sites across the East region of the UK. As this role covers the East region of the UK, we're looking for someone who's based within this area. You'll need to travel to our central hub in Peterborough and other operational sites across the East region, up to 5 days a week. Locations include: Bacton, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Diss, Hatton, Huntingdon, Kings Lynn, Peterborough, and Wisbech.

As Gas Operations Cyber Officer, you'll provide dedicated technical expertise and support for operational technologies (OT) and cyber disciplines across Gas Transmission assets. You'll ensure the safe, secure, and efficient operation of instrumentation and control systems on terminals, compressor stations, power stations, industrial offtakes, pipelines, and AGIs within a defined geographic area of the national transmission system.
You’ll be proactive and safety-conscious with strong leadership and communication skills. You’ll thrive in collaborative environments, promoting teamwork across field teams, project groups, and contractors. You’ll have the ability to influence, and support others, ensuring high standards of technical delivery and safety compliance.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
