As a Gas and Heating Installation Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers’ homes are safe, warm and energy‑efficient. You’ll carry out full and partial installations, breakdown repairs and servicing to a high standard, working independently and in line with all relevant regulations, codes of practice and Paradigm procedures. About the Role/team
You’ll be part of our Property Services team, reporting to the Gas Installation Supervisor, and working closely with residents, colleagues and other technicians. You’ll diagnose and repair a wide range of gas and heating faults, aiming for a first‑time fix wherever possible. You’ll also complete all required documentation accurately and on time, maintain van stock, and ensure all work is carried out safely and professionally.
This role also involves supporting apprentices or less experienced technicians when required, helping to build capability across the team. You’ll be trusted to work independently, make informed decisions and deliver high‑quality work that meets regulatory standards and customer expectations.
We are committed to creating an inclusive workforce, by reflecting and representing the diversity of the communities we serve. We would like to encourage applications from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds; people who identify as disabled, neurodiverse, members of the LGBTQ+ community and people from underrepresented groups.
We are committed to providing reasonable adjustments throughout our recruitment process and we’ll always endeavour to be as accommodating as possible. Please let us know in advance of any suitable arrangements required.
Due to the nature of some of our roles involving work with vulnerable members of society, this post may be subject to a basic or enhanced Criminal Disclosure, which will be carried out when a conditional offer is made.
