A leading engineering company in Guildford is searching for a Gas Engineer to maintain crucial mechanical and heating systems at RSME Minley. Your role involves repairing commercial boilers, conducting inspections, and managing supplies. Candidates must have experience in mechanical maintenance and hold relevant qualifications, including a commercial gas safety certification. As a Gas Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a key role in maintaining the essential mechanical and heating systems that keep the RSME Minley estate running safely, efficiently and reliably. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in defence, aerospace and engineering by ensuring critical facilities remain operational for those who rely on them every day.
Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.
The role is based onsite at RSME Minley, and the set working times are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 4pm, totalling 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
