We are an independent charitable company based in Hexham.
Our purpose is to provide working opportunities to people with learning differences and/or mental health needs so they can develop their skills and self-esteem and grow in confidence, creating a positive impact on the quality of their lives.
We run several not-for-profit enterprises that provide safe and supported work experience and work-based training for adults with learning differences and/or mental health needs.
We operate as a social enterprise in that we charge a commercial rate for the services we provide, but we need to raise additional funds through grant applications and other fundraising activities to enable us to continue to provide our services without charge to our beneficiaries.
We have a track record of successful grant applications and intend to build on that and add other suitable fundraising activities.
We are seeking a dynamic and committed individual with experience of grant applications and other fundraising to join the team. The role is up to 5 days per week and the salary is up to £28350 FTE. Hexham/hybrid role. We would consider a job share or splitting this role into two: one dedicated to grant funding; and the other concentrating on alternative types of fundraising.
Closing date for applications 12 noon on 12th September 2025.
