FRENCH GRADUATE ASSISTANT
FIXED TERM CONTRACT

SEPTEMBER 2026-JULY 2027

£20,700 for the duration of the contract plus meals and accommodation

St Mary’s School Ascot is seeking to appoint a French Graduate Assistant who is responsible and enthusiastic and who may wish to pursue a career in teaching. The job will include:

  • Pastoral & boarding duties (including some weekends and 4 evenings a week)
  • Supporting academic departments and assisting with university preparation
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities and trips

The French Graduate Assistant should be:

  • Native level French speaker
  • Educated to degree level
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Able to take responsibility and make decisions
  • Adaptable and calm under pressure
  • Committed and hardworking

There is an occupational requirement (as defined by Schedule 9 (Part 1) of the Equality Act 2010) for the postholder to be female. Accordingly, this post is open to female applicants only.
