A family nature resort company in the UK is seeking a dedicated Forest Ranger to manage and maintain the forest landscapes at their location. This role involves supporting the Grounds Services Manager and promoting conservation efforts. Key responsibilities include managing forestry work and ensuring equipment safety. Ideal candidates will have a background in horticulture or forestry, experience with machinery, and a valid driving license. Competitive hourly wage and unique benefits are offered.

The Grounds Services team is responsible for managing and maintaining the forest landscape at each of our villages, including wildlife and biodiversity surveys. Our expert teams are extremely passionate about the natural environment at Center Parcs, which our guests love to see.
FOREST RANGER | £13.47 per hour
In this role, you will support the Grounds Services Manager in the effective management and supervision of the development in accordance with Company and legislative requirements.
You will actively promote conservation aspects, support the Senior Forest Rangers with key tasks and help develop and maintain an effective working team.
Please note that this role will involve working outdoors during periods of adverse weather conditions.

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
You may also be required to participate in the department’s call-out rota as required.
