Qualifications

• Experience in leadership and management is essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and guide/support the team.
• Knowledge of diabetes care is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible operational leadership and support to the team within the Sefton Place Community Diabetes Team.
• Ensure service continuity across Southport, Formby and the South Sefton area.
• Lead and manage the team effectively, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills, taking initiative and working independently.
• Support the development of clinical understanding and provide training in diabetes care where necessary.
