Overview

Finberry Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking Intervention Teaching Assistant to support individual and small groups of children. Our school is growing and we are excited to expand our team. You will be working alongside the class teachers and the School SENDCo.

Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning across small groups and individual pupils as directed by the class teacher and SENDCo.
  • Contribute to creating enabling environments that promote flexibility, collaboration and independent learning.
  • Help pupils develop as curious, lifelong learners and build strong relationships to facilitate learning.
  • Integrate new technology and approaches to support modern, 21st‑century learning where appropriate.
Role details
  • Term time only working
  • 30 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday — 8:45am to 3:30pm
  • Paid at pro rata KSA – approximately £16,880
  • 43 paid weeks to include 5 weeks holiday pay

Please note this role is attached to funding and therefore will be a temporary contract subject to annual review on 31st August 2026. If the funding is removed or reduced, the contract may change before the review date.
