Job Type: Full time

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £12.21- £12.50 per hour

About The Role

To add to our existing team of amazing and dedicated staff, we are seeking to recruit Outreach Support Workers in Cheshire. You will be part of our outreach team, travelling to the homes of the people we support to assist them in their daily routines. You will assist with day‑to‑day tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping, and provide assistance in the community to engage in social activities or work placements. Some of the people we support live at home with their families and some live independently, but your time and engagement helps them to thrive.

As An Outreach Support Worker, You Will
  • Provide one‑to‑one support
  • Support individuals with daily living skills
  • Assist with accessing the community, attending appointments, and engaging in meaningful activities
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and well‑being
  • Follow personalised support plans and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues
  • Use a full UK driving licence and own car

Cost of fuel to travel between services: paid at 45p per mile.

Eligibility: This post is restricted to women only as a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 paragraph 1, Equality Act 2010.

Hours

1 full‑time position available.

Regular shift patterns: 4pm‑10pm.

Must be available to work 2 weekends out of 4 and include sleep‑ins (weekend support is Friday 2pm through to 9:30am on the Monday, and shifts can be split to suit the applicant).

Must be flexible.

Location

Being part of our Outreach teams means travel is essential. Required to travel between Sandbach, Alsager, Crewe, Congleton and Nantwich, and possibly other areas for different services on the same day.
