A school within a reputable trust located in Basingstoke seeks a Family Support Lead to oversee family support services. The ideal candidate will manage student welfare, promote attendance, and collaborate closely with families and agencies. Dove House is an Outstanding school and is one of five schools within Solent Academies Trust. We are seeking to recruit a highly organised and proactive and compassionate individual to oversee the school’s family support services.
The Family Support Lead will manage the school’s family support services. This is a pivotal role requiring excellent communication and analytical skills.
You will promote excellent attendance, engagement and welfare of pupils. You will work closely with families, school staff and external agencies, providing target support in a planned and strategic way.
Candidates will have significant experience of working with children and families and a good understanding of attendance legislation and guidance. You will have excellent organisational skills and be a reflective and relational practitioner. You will be a motivated and vibrant individual who enjoys working within an environment that is constantly busy.
Band 8
37 hours per week, term time only plus two weeks

The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm and Friday 8am to 3.30pm. You will work for 41 weeks of the year; however, you will be paid for 47.4 weeks. Your salary will be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
