The Facilities Engineer will play a key role in the maintenance and wider production departments, responsible for working across production and systems teams (IT) to implement and improve processes, identify and repair faults, and keep automation standardised. They must be capable of systematically identifying, analysing, and resolving problems with mechanical systems, instrumentation, and equipment.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in automation, instrumentation, and programming. Strong electrical skills and knowledge will be critical to succeed in this role. The engineer will plan their daily schedule to complete necessary tasks, while maintaining the flexibility required to address mechanical and automation‑related issues as they arise. They will demonstrate excellent creative problem‑solving capabilities with a cost‑conscious approach.
This person will play a crucial part in our Continuous Improvement and Asset Care programmes across the plant, working closely with Production teams to integrate new processes and equipment to drive efficiency and safety initiatives.
Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, diligence, enthusiasm, and a passion for developing our growing warehouse operation, as well as:
