Job summary

A hospitality group is seeking a Food and Beverage Data & Procurement Assistant to manage systems across their hotels. This role requires an analytical mindset and strong communication skills, ideally with previous experience in a luxury hotel setting. Responsibilities include maintaining Food and Beverage systems and relationships with suppliers and head chefs. Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the Food and Beverage industry, ideally in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Experience using Procurement Wizard & Simphony.
  • Ability to demonstrate a pro-active, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and implement all Food & Beverage systems.
  • Ensure Food & Beverage systems are configured correctly.
  • Work closely with suppliers and head chefs to keep information up to date.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Food and Beverage Data & Procurement Assistant at our Head Office in Sevenoaks, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

This position will be based at our Head Office in Sevenoaks, Kent, but due to the nature of the role, travel to our hotels will be required as the business requires.

About the Role
  • Reporting into our Executive Chef - Events Division, this role will entail maintaining and implementing all Food & Beverage systems throughout the Hand Picked Hotels portfolio.
  • Ensuring Food & Beverage related systems are configured and operating correctly.
  • An attention to detail and a high level of organization is essential for this role.
  • Maintaining a professional, polite and courteous manner when dealing with all internal and external customers.
  • Working closely with our Suppliers & Head Chefs, you will ensure allergens, costings and pricing are all up to date and correct
About You:
  • Having an analytical mindset is essential , and will be able to extract data to pinpoint areas of opportunity.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • As a seasoned industry professional, you will have a strong knowledge of the Food and Beverage industry, and be working in a similar function, ideally within a luxury Hotel setting.
  • Experience using Procurement Wizard & Simphony is essential, as you will be required to keep all menus and allergens up to date.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with colleagues senor management and stakeholders within the business.
  • Be able to demonstrate working with a pro-active, can-do attitude.
