Base Pay Range

Salary: £32,469.20 per annum OTE

About The Role

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You’ll help ensure smooth, efficient service throughout the restaurant, always going the extra mile to make every visit special.

Responsibilities
  • Set up the restaurant for service, respecting restaurant-specific standards
  • Assist with bar duties, making coffee and tea
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and exceed guest expectations
  • Maintain and polish all work equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware
  • Know all dishes and beverages on the menu, conveying them to guests and being aware of allergens
  • Monitor timing and flow of service, highlighting any delays to your manager
  • Ensure all bills presented to guests are correct and cashed off correctly
  • Drive meaningful social and environmental improvements, contributing to our B Corp journey and sustainability vision
  • Inspire and empower customers, suppliers and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a lasting positive impact on the world
Skills and Requirements
  • Strong communication skills – clearly relay orders and requests between kitchen and front‑of‑house teams
  • Excellent customer service – polite, attentive and professional when interacting with guests
  • Attention to detail – ensure food is presented correctly and delivered promptly
  • Teamwork and collaboration – work efficiently with kitchen and service staff to maintain smooth operations
  • Physical stamina and speed – comfortable working on your feet for long periods and moving quickly in a fast‑paced environment
