Camp Epic is looking for someone who loves supporting children and brings energy, patience, and positivity to every session.

If you are looking for a role where you can make a real difference in school and/or after the school day-and we're looking for someone just like you to join our wraparound team in a local primary school.

Your role
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for children
  • Lead simple, fun activities that keep children active and engaged
  • Help create an exciting curriculum for our children
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and school staff
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain high standards of care
  • Work closely with the other team members to help each session run smoothly
What you bring
  • Confidence working with children aged 4-11
  • Clear communication and a caring, supportive approach
  • The ability to stay calm, organised, and positive during busy times
  • A team-focused attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
  • Experience in childcare or education (ideally L3 Early Years or FQT status - but not essential)
  • Awareness of Ofsted expectations (a bonus)

Hours and location

Monday to Friday
Afternoon shifts available: 15:00-18:00pm
We also have other roles from 8:30-15:30pm
Term-time with optional holiday work
Positions available in Essex primary schools, including Basildon, Stanford Le-Hope, Thurrock, Chelmsford and Harlow.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
