Export Documentation Assistant – Vzw Miss Unique

Our client is a global leader in the scrap material recycling industry, trading for close to 20 years and specialising in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, semi‑finished goods, waste paper and plastics. Based close to Heathrow, they are looking for an experienced, Hindi‑speaking Export Documentation Assistant to prepare and manage paperwork required for international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process export documents such as commercial invoices, bills of lading and certificates of origin.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete and compliant with current trade regulations and customs procedures.
  • Maintain and update records, including filing systems and digital archives.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (sales, warehouse) and external partners (shipping lines, customs).
  • Assist in processing export orders and managing order acknowledgements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shipping and documentation.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Show strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) proficiently.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Draw on experience with export documentation and customs procedures.
  • Apply knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Leverage familiarity with SAP.
  • Analyse problems and develop solutions.
