A leading academy school in Newbury is seeking reliable and confident Exam Invigilators to oversee students during exams. This casual position offers a competitive salary, with training provided. We are currently looking to appoint committed and enthusiastic Exam Invigilators to support our main cohort of students and students with access arrangements (e.g. reader/scribe) for both internal and external examinations.
As a large secondary school with a busy calendar of examinations, we are looking for confident, flexible and reliable Invigilators to work in a variety of exam settings, from whole-year exams to small groups and one-to-one.
There is a high level of contact with students in this role and a good rapport with young people is essential. You will have a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examination/assessment process and will conduct examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body and Centre.
No previous experience is necessary and full training will be provided.
By negotiation and agreement during the busiest exam periods of January, March, April-June and November. Please note invigilation duty times sit outside of our normal school day (see Job Description for more details)
Exam Invigilators (General) £14.17 per hour (including holiday pay) equivalent to £24796.00
Exam Invigilators (Access Arrangements) £14.95 per hour (including holiday pay) equivalent to £25185.00
