A leading historic motorsport organization in Bicester seeks an enthusiastic Events Co-ordinator. You'll support the planning and delivery of various non-speed events, ensuring clear communication with members and suppliers while managing operational tasks during events. Ideal for those with a keen interest in vintage motorsport, this role offers a hands-on experience within a supportive team culture.
We are seeking an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Events Co-ordinator to join our Competitions Team at Hockley Heath. This full-time role supports the planning, organisation and delivery of the Club’s competition calendar, with particular responsibility for non-speed disciplines, including Trials, Rallies, Driving Tests and Tours.
Founded in 1934, the Vintage Sports-Car Club (VSCC) is one of the most established and active motoring clubs in the world. With more than 5,000 members and a programme of over thirty events each year, the Club exists to promote, preserve and enjoy pre-war motoring.
Our calendar spans historic racing, hill climbs, sprints, trials, rallies and driving tests, supported by a nationwide community of competitors, volunteers and enthusiasts. The VSCC holds an important place within the UK’s motoring heritage, championing engineering skill, inter-generational knowledge, and the living use of historic machinery. Our events are known for their friendliness, authenticity and the unmistakable atmosphere that comes from pre‑war cars being used exactly as intended.
We are seeking an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Events Co-ordinator to join our Competitions Team at Hockley Heath. This full-time role supports the planning, organisation and delivery of the Club’s competition calendar, with particular responsibility for non-speed disciplines, including Trials, Rallies, Driving Tests and Tours. The Events Co-ordinator also supports the senior team on Speed and Race meetings and attends events throughout the season, occasionally acting as Secretary of the Meeting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys varied work, is confident communicating with members and volunteers, and wants to play an active part in preserving and delivering historic motorsport.
